Brilio.net/en - Once in a while we'd come across something seems that it doesn't belong in this world.
The 'Oobleck' is a non-Newtonian liquid that can easily be created by mixing water and cornstarch. The name 'oobleck' itself was derived from a Dr. Seuss book entitledBartholomew and the Oobleck.
What makes this substance unique is that when you slowly dip something in, it will feel like liquid. However if you add more force to the movement it will harden up and act as a solid. In fact, you can even run on top of it if you run fast enough. But be warned, slow down a bit and the mixture will swallow you up whole.
Confused? Perhaps these gifs will illustrate it better.
Oobleck is a non-Newtonian fluid; it has properties of both liquids and solids. You can slowly dip your hand into it like a liquid, but if you squeeze the oobleck or punch it, it will feel solid.
