Indonesian cuisine is known for its rich flavors and textures, including crunchy and crispy ones. To get a crunchy texture, food is usually processed through a frying method. Frying has become a characteristic of Indonesian cuisine because it not only provides a crunchy texture, but also a delicious aroma that is increasingly appetizing.

When frying , most people will use oil. Well, this oil is one of the cooking components that must be in the kitchen. Therefore, many people will store it in large quantities in bottles. That way, cooking oil can be poured out when you want to use it.

However, some people often experience problems when they want to pour cooking oil from the bottle. Usually the oil that comes out of the bottle can overflow and actually hit the outside of the bottle. When this happens, of course there will be a lot of oil stains scattered on the stove and kitchen floor. In fact, oil spills tend to be difficult to clean and leave slippery marks.

Then to overcome this, you can imitate the trick shared by Instagram user @tudinarkhumairoh. Through one of the videos uploaded, he admitted to only relying on one tool to prevent cooking oil from spilling and overflowing when poured. Reported by BrilioFood from Instagram @tudinarkhumairoh on Thursday (8/15), the tool in question is a rubber band.

So, you can directly tie the end of the bottle (above the neck of the bottle) using this rubber band. Tie it several times until the rubber part clumps together. After that, you can pour cooking oil from the bottle as usual.

Basically, this rubber band functions as a divider. So when poured, cooking oil that is slippery and slightly thick will usually seep to the bottom of the bottle. Well, the rubber band will inhibit the process. Therefore, cooking oil does not flow or seep to the bottom of the bottle.

This trick can have many impacts. In addition to minimizing wasted cooking oil, this trick also keeps the area around the stove and floor clean. You don't need to worry anymore about spilled oil falling when you are about to pour cooking oil, either into a frying pan or into another container.
