The yellow crust left by turmeric in the blender is often an annoying problem for many people. Turmeric, with its bright yellow pigment, is known to leave stubborn stains on various surfaces, including blender glass and plastic. These stains not only damage the appearance of the blender, but also make the blender difficult to use because the glass is opaque.

To overcome this problem, the blender must be cleaned first with a special trick. The reason is, dishwashing soap or detergent alone is not really effective in removing these stains, especially if the stains are already crusty. Of course it will be more difficult to clean it.

Even though it is difficult, it doesn't mean that the yellow crust from turmeric cannot be removed. An Instagram user @fahrunnizarf once shared a trick for crushing the yellow crust used in turmeric in a blender so that it becomes clear again. This trick was shared further through one of the uploaded videos.

Reported by BrilioFood from Instagram @fahrunnizarf on Wednesday (17/7), there are two simple ingredients used to remove the yellow crust. Well, the simple ingredients in question are baking soda and citrus. Then to improve the performance of these two ingredients, he also used hot water to wash the blender.

The video, which was watched more than 2,000 times, immediately caught the attention of netizens. This can be seen from the many other Instagram users who also provided direct responses in the comments column. Most said they were interested in trying the trick directly.

For further methods, first disassemble all the blender components that you want to wash, such as glass, rubber and blender blades. Then place it in a large heat-resistant basin. If so, flush the blender with boiling water. Make sure the blender is completely submerged, okay?

If so, add baking soda and citrus. In the video, he also adds dish soap to make the crust come off more easily. Then let it sit for a few moments until the water temperature decreases or cools.

Only then take a blender, then rub it using wire soap. For hard-to-reach parts such as blender blades, you can scrub them with an old toothbrush. Finally, rinse until completely clean.

Don't forget, drain the blender until dry. That way, the appearance of the blender will be more shiny. Even a blender glass that was originally opaque can turn clear again because there is no crust attached to it.
