Rahayu Effendi , a senior actress who is also the mother of Dede Yusuf, passed away on Thursday (11/28) at the age of 82. The late Rahayu Effendi was buried at Jeruk Purut TPU, South Jakarta.
According to her son, Dede Yusuf, Rahayu died of a heart attack. It was previously known that Rahayu had been battling various illnesses, including a heart attack since early October 2024. For almost two months, the deceased was treated intensively in the ICU. Although she had shown signs of recovery, her body weakened again and she was declared dead at 04.38 WIB.
