Krisjiana Baharudin , Siti Badriah's husband, has just announced that he will undergo gallstone surgery after being hospitalized for days with acute stomach pain. In a video uploaded to his Instagram account, Krisjiana is seen shocked when he finds out that his cholesterol level has reached an alarming number, namely 366.
"Alhamdulillah, the lab results are all out. And it turns out that the source of my illness came from my cholesterol! See for yourself how much it is, 366. Try it! 366," said Krisjiana, who is known through the film Air Mata di Ujung Sajadah .
After receiving the shocking test results, Krisjiana had no other choice but to undergo the necessary medical procedures, including surgery scheduled for today, Monday (12/30/2024).
While lying in a hospital bed, Krisjiana also shared the results of an MRI showing fluid in the lungs, an enlarged liver, inflammation of the pancreas, and gallstones. "It's a mess, and in the end I have to have surgery maybe tomorrow to remove the gallbladder, which has stones in it. Please pray that it goes smoothly," she added.
Krisjiana, who is a father of one, also recalled his bitter experience a few years ago when he was hospitalized intensively due to an intestinal infection. At that time, the doctor forbade him from consuming starchy foods. However, after feeling healthy, he returned to his old habits and ignored the prohibition.
"After a month passed, I started to be stubborn. I ate noodles, ramen, siomai, seblak again. I ate meatballs. Maybe I can eat meatballs two or three times a week. That was my fault," he admitted in a regretful tone.
Now, Krisjiana hopes that the operation will go smoothly and the recovery phase can be done without any obstacles. She has been hospitalized for more than four days and has been taking various medications.
"This is the third time I've been like this. Because I'm also stubborn. Ah, it's a mess. Hopefully I'll get better soon. Because I haven't been filming since yesterday," he concluded.
