Brilio.net - Beans are a group of legumes that have many benefits for body health. One type of nut that is often consumed is peanuts. This nut is known to have a savory taste. Peanuts can be processed into various dishes, one of the most popular is garlic peanuts.
This dish is quite often found during Eid. Usually onion nuts are packed neatly in a jar and eaten as a snack. The fragrant aroma of fried garlic and lime leaves further adds to the enjoyment of processed peanuts.
However, sometimes after frying the onion beans for a long time the texture becomes tough and not crunchy. So to overcome this, a number of people choose to soak the nuts in water first before frying.
However, this method tends to be complicated and takes a lot of time. Actually, there are other, more practical tricks for making onion beans, you know. This trick was shared by a netizen via the DAPUR RAYYANKA YouTube account. He admitted that he could make crunchy onion beans without having to soak them first. These nuts are also not fried in oil, you know, but use margarine.
"We make fried shallots which are fried without oil, friends. The result is like this, so it's really crunchy and can last up to a month," he said.
Reported by BrilioFood from YouTube DAPUR RAYYANKA on Tuesday (26/3), the ingredients used are 500 grams of small peanuts which have been peeled and washed clean, 1 head of garlic, 10 lime leaves, 100 grams of margarine, 1 tablespoon of salt , and 1 tbsp flavoring.
"If you use large nuts, they won't be crunchy or crunchy. You don't need to soak the nuts," he said further.

Next, slice the garlic thinly, then put it in a container. The YouTube user also added vinegar to sliced garlic.
"So that when it is fried the color doesn't turn brown, I add 1 tsp of vinegar. So we stir it well. Leave it for 3 minutes, then fry it," he explained.
On the other hand, prepare Teflon. With the stove fire off, add the peanuts and margarine. Then stir until the nuts and margarine are evenly mixed. After that, just turn on the lowest heat to fry the peanuts.
"This takes quite a long time because if it is cooked over high heat it will burn, but if it is cooked over low heat it will be perfectly cooked," he added.
While frying peanuts on Teflon, the YouTube user heats the oil in a frying pan. Then fry the sliced garlic.
"Keep stirring, don't let it burn. As soon as it starts to brown, immediately remove it. When it cools, it will harden. Fry over low heat so that it is perfectly cooked and the results are beautiful," said the YouTube user.
After the fried garlic was cooked, the YouTube user continued to fry the lime leaves briefly and immediately removed them and drained them. Set aside the fried garlic and lime leaves first.
"Friends, after half an hour, they (the beans) have started to turn golden but they are not yet cooked. We will wait for 45 minutes and they will be cooked. We will still fry them like this, we have to be patient and painstaking. When it's been 45 minutes, the color will start to turn yellow golden, ready to be lifted," he said.
After removing, place the nuts on greaseproof paper. Add salt and seasoning, then stir well. Then also add the fried garlic and crushed lime leaves, stir until evenly mixed.
"Let it sit for about 1-2 hours so it can absorb the remaining margarine that is still attached," he concluded.
If it has been left for 1-2 hours, the onion beans are ready to be packed in jars and served. How about it, it's quite easy, isn't it?
