How to deal with a clogged sink

There are several ways you can try to deal with a clogged sink:

1. Use a mud drain opener.

You can try using a mud drain opener which is available in household equipment stores or supermarkets. Follow the instructions for use on the packaging carefully.

2. Try using household ingredients.

Mix 1 cup of baking soda with 1 cup of white vinegar, then pour this mixture into the clogged sink drain. Let the reaction between the baking soda and vinegar play for a few minutes, then pour hot water down the drain to clean out any residue.

3. Use a mud drain cleaner.

You can also try using a mud drain cleaning tool available at home improvement stores. This tool usually has a hook or handle that can be inserted into the drain to clear the buildup of dirt that is causing the blockage.

4. Use a plunger.

Use the plunger to try to push out the buildup of dirt that is blocking the drain. Make sure to close the overflow hole (if any) before using the plunger so that the air pressure can create effective suction.

5. Remove the drain line.

If the steps above don't work, you may need to remove the drain from the sink to clean it manually. Be sure to have a bowl or bucket under the drain to catch any water and debris that may escape when removing it.

6. Contact professional services.

If all the above efforts don't work, you may need to call a professional service to clean the sink drain. They have the equipment and knowledge necessary to clear more serious blockages.
