Reported by BrilioFood from YouTube Sheptya PM on Sunday (21/4), the kitchen ingredients in question are salt, lemon juice and coconut oil. So, these three ingredients will be added when rice is cooked in a rice cooker. That way, the rice doesn't get stale and crusty quickly even if it's stored all day in the rice cooker.

Well, how to use it is quite easy. First of all, wash the rice you want to cook. Just wash it a maximum of three times so that the nutritional content of the rice is not lost. If there is dirt like gravel, you can pick it up and throw it away, OK?

Next, set the rice aside first. Then in a small container or bowl, add 1 tablespoon lemon juice and 1 teaspoon coconut oil. Stir until evenly mixed.

If so, transfer the rice to the inner pot or rice cooker pan. Then flatten the rice. After that, pour in the mixture of lemon and coconut oil. Then sprinkle a pinch of salt all over the surface of the rice.

Finally, pour boiling water into the rice cooker pan two knuckles high. Stir again until all the ingredients are mixed evenly. Then move the inner pot into a rice cooker and cook the rice as usual.

If the rice is cooked, let it rest for 15 minutes. Only then open the rice cooker, then stir the top of the rice. According to YouTube user Sheptya PM, the resulting rice cooked with these ingredients tends to be neither soft nor hard. Well, the soft and fluffier texture of this rice will not easily go stale or dry even if it is stored in a rice cooker.

"The rice lasts a long time and doesn't smell quickly within 3 days while in the rice cooker," said YouTube Sheptya PM
