Brilio.net - There are various models of dish racks to choose from for the kitchen, for example plastic or iron dish racks. Iron plate racks seem to be a mainstay for many people, because they are sturdy and can withstand heavy loads . However, the downside is that iron dish racks are at risk of rusting.
Rust on the dish rack can appear if this appliance is frequently exposed to water. Usually, rust stains are very difficult to remove. Many people choose to clean them with hot water, vinegar, or even special cleaning agents to remove rust.
However, unlike netizens on Naoki Hamizan's YouTube channel, this woman admits that she has another, simpler method. Even so, this method is no less effective for removing stubborn rust stains on dish racks. If you are interested in trying this method, you only need one additional kitchen ingredient, you know.
First, prepare a container to mix the cleaning agent. Put 1 packet of citric acid into the container, then add enough dish soap. Yup, dishwashing soap is the main kitchen ingredient for practicing how to remove rust from this dish rack.

Next, dissolve the two ingredients in a little clean water. Stir until all the ingredients are evenly mixed, then spread it over the entire surface of the plate rack, especially those with rust stains. After that, leave it for a few moments.
"Let it sit for 1 hour," added YouTube channel owner Naoki Hamizan, quoted by BrilioFood on Wednesday (26/6).

After letting it sit for 1 hour, then scrub the plate rack with an old toothbrush . Guaranteed, rust stains that were originally stubborn will disappear easily after using this mixture of citrus and dish washing soap, you know. Finally, when all the stains are gone, rinse the dish rack with clean water.
So, before returning it to its original place, the plate rack should be dried immediately using a cloth or towel. This effort will prevent rust from appearing again.
