Brilio.net - There are many kitchen tools used for cooking, one of which is a pan. Usually pans are used to cook soupy foods. But don't deny that some people also stir-fry using a pan.

Because it is used frequently, it is not surprising that the pan gets dirty . Moreover, the bottom or bottom of the pan is directly exposed to the stove fire.

If you don't clean it straight away, the bottom of the pan will be covered in burnt crust. Even if it has been washed or scrubbed, the burnt crust will usually remain.

Knowing this, some people usually rub the bottom of the pan using a citrus solution. This cleaning agent is really effective in removing stubborn stains on the bottom of the pan.

But don't just use citrus, because it turns out there are other cleaning agents that can be used to remove burnt crust on the bottom of the pan. The method was shown by YouTube user CREATIVE IDE CHANNEL.

Instead of scrubbing the butt of the pan with citron, this netizen actually prepared a special cleaning solution. In his video upload, he can be seen mixing two kitchen ingredients, namely 1 tablespoon of salt and a cap of table vinegar in a container.

Before stirring, add enough powdered detergent. Then pour the water into the container and stir until all the ingredients are completely mixed.

If so, place a previously moistened cloth over the bottom of the pan. Then just pour the cleaning solution that was made earlier on top.

"By watering it like this, God willing, all the burnt crust will fall off," he said, quoted by BrilioFood from the YouTube CREATIVE IDE CHANNEL on Tuesday (19/3).

After that, let the pan sit for 5 minutes so that the cleaning solution can work optimally. Immediately open the cloth and rub the bottom of the pan using a wire sponge when it has been left for 5 minutes.

Without expending extra effort, it appears that all the burnt crust on the pan fades away by itself. Finally, rinse the pan with clean water. As a result, the appearance of the pan looks shiny like new again.

An easy way to patch a hole in a pan.

Patching a hole in a pot can be done in a few simple steps. However, keep in mind that patching a pot with a hole may only provide a temporary solution and may not be suitable for long-term use, especially if the hole is large or is in an area that is frequently exposed to high heat and pressure. Here are the general steps for patching a pot with holes:

1. Prepare the ingredients.

You need materials that are heat resistant and safe for food. Typically, heat-resistant epoxy glue or heat-resistant solder will be suitable for patching the pan. Make sure the materials you use are safe for use in contact with food.

2. Clean the hole area.

Make sure the area around the hole is completely clean and free of dirt or oil. You can clean it with water and soap, then dry it thoroughly.

3. Apply additional ingredients.

If you use epoxy glue, follow the instructions on the package to mix and apply it to the hole area. Make sure you cover the hole well and evenly. If you use solder, make sure to heat the pan and solder carefully so that the solder spreads evenly and covers the holes.

4. Let it dry.

If you use epoxy glue, let the pan dry according to the instructions on the glue package. If you use solder, let the pan cool and make sure the solder is properly hardened before using.

5. Strength test.

Once the patching process is complete, be sure to do a strength test by filling a pan with water and heating it on the stove to see if your patch can withstand the pressure and heat.

6. Use with caution.

Although the pan may be reusable after being patched, use it with caution and avoid situations that could damage the patch again, such as overheating the pan or dropping it.

If the hole is too large or difficult to patch with this method, it is better to consider replacing the damaged pan with a new one.
