Brilio.net - Sauce is often added to food to give the dish a delicious spicy taste. Apart from enriching the taste, sauce is also often used as a food coloring. Because it is made from tomatoes and chilies, the sauce can produce a natural red color which can also beautify the food.

Unfortunately, the red color of this sauce means it needs to be used with caution. Not without reason, if the sauce has already stained the clothes you are wearing, the stain will be difficult to remove. Yup, sauce stains on clothes are a problem that many people often experience.

Because it is quite stubborn , this sauce stain cannot be removed just by washing it using detergent. There will still be marks stuck to the clothes. Therefore, you need a special way to remove sauce stains from clothes.

Luckily, an Instagram user @safaralles once shared a simple method that has been used to deal with sauce stains on clothes. Through one of the uploaded videos, this netizen admitted that he did not use harsh cleaning agents that could damage fabric fibers. Instead, he relies on simple ingredients found in the kitchen.

Reported by BrilioFood from Instagram @safaralles on Sunday (21/7), the kitchen ingredients in question are baking soda and dishwashing soap. Well, these two ingredients can be very effective in removing sauce stains optimally without leaving scars.

If it has been left to sit, scrub it using a brush. Or you can also rub the part of the cloth that is stained. Only then, rinse under running water until there is no remaining soap or baking soda attached. Finally, dry in the sun until dry.

Basically, baking soda and dish soap are an effective combination for removing sauce stains on clothes because they both have strong cleaning properties. Baking soda has mild abrasive properties that can help remove stains from fabric fibers. Its alkaline nature also helps neutralize the acid in the sauce, making the cleaning process easier. Additionally, baking soda has the ability to absorb oil, which is useful for removing oil-based sauce stains.

On the other hand, dish soap is specifically designed to break down fats and oils. The active ingredients in dishwashing soap are effective at dissolving and removing oil and food residue from the surface of the cloth. When used together, baking soda will help lift and absorb stains, while dish soap can break down and dissolve them, so the stain can be removed more efficiently.
