Brilio.net - Termites are a type of insect that often come into homes. Even though they are small, termites usually come in groups to eat wooden furniture. Not infrequently, termites also eat away at the foundations of houses made of wood .
If left alone, furniture and even the foundation of the house can be damaged. So, instead of having their houses damaged by termites, a number of people are deliberately looking for ways to get rid of these insects. One way is to spray termite nests using dish soap.
How to make it is fairly easy, just dissolve dish soap in a spray bottle filled with water. If so, shake it and then just apply it. In a short time, the termite swarm died.
But don't just use dish soap solution, it turns out there are other methods that can be practiced to get rid of termite populations at home. The method was done by YouTube user Regarding Wooden Houses. At the beginning of the video, he shows the appearance of his wooden cupboard being eaten away by a group of termites.
"Yes, termite marks are like this, we have to find the nest. Usually it's not far from the wood gnawing marks," he said, quoted by BrilioFood from YouTube Regarding Wooden Houses on Wednesday (29/5).

An effective trick to get rid of termites on wooden furniture is just adding 1 kitchen spice.
To repel termites, this netizen mixed a special liquid. Instead of dishwashing soap, he actually dissolved a kitchen spice, namely salt, in water.
"We use 2 tablespoons of salt and enough water until the solution is thick," explained the owner of the video.

Once done, spray the salt solution towards the termite nest. Usually termite nests are shaped like holes.

After that, spray insecticide liquid on the wooden furniture. This aims to minimize termites returning to the wooden furniture.

Because it has been sprayed with a salt solution and insecticide liquid, the termites will be afraid to come back. That way, wooden furniture will remain intact and last a long time.
