Brilio.net - If you're bored of eating the same side dishes for lunch, you can try mixed tofu . This typical Surabaya dish contains pieces of tofu, lontong, sliced cabbage and bean sprouts. The way to make it is not complicated and super easy, here is the recipe reported by BrilioFood from Instagram @suprabajati2020.

Material:
- 5 pieces of white tofu soaked in fried spices 1/2 cooked
- 4 cabbage leaves, finely sliced
- 1 cup fried peanuts, coarsely crushed
- Shrimp bakwan
- Boiled bean sprouts
- Celery leaves, sliced
- Cayenne pepper
- Garlic
- Sweet soy sauce

Soup ingredients:
- 4 glasses of water
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 stalk of lemongrass
- 2 pieces of palm sugar
- 1 tbsp tamarind
- Salt to taste
- Boil all the soup ingredients until boiling, adjust the taste

Presentation:
1. Grind the chilies and 1 small garlic or 1/2 if it is large on a plate, add the crushed nuts.
2. Arrange the ketupat, tofu and bakwan pieces on top, sprinkle with enough sauce, add bean sprouts, sliced cabbage, and sprinkle with celery leaves, you can add sweet soy sauce if you like.
