Brilio.net - Cat care requires special attention to health to prevent various diseases. Cats are animals that are easily attacked by infectious viruses. Cat health monitoring can be done through the selection of the right food.
Cat food is produced with high nutritional content to meet daily nutritional needs. Balanced nutritional intake affects the weight and growth of cat fur. Cat food is available in three types of packaging, namely dry, semi-wet, and wet, which can be adjusted to the needs of each cat.
The cost of purchasing packaged cat food is quite high, ranging from Rp100,000 to Rp150,000 per month for one cat. This expense does not include the cost of vitamins and grooming. Making cat food independently at home is a solution to save monthly expenses.
Homemade cat food still has high nutritional content that is good for the health and growth of cats. The YouTube channel SAS Daily shares how to make cat food with a capital of IDR 15,000 for one month's needs. Making cat food only requires two simple kitchen ingredients.
As reported by BrilioFood on Friday (20/12), the kitchen ingredients used are chicken heads and plain agar-agar. In the video, he uses 1 kilogram of chicken heads for Rp10 thousand.
Meanwhile, for 1 pack of plain agar-agar, the price to be paid is only Rp5,000. With this measurement, you can make cat food for a whole month.

The method of making it is also quite easy. First, boil the chicken head for 20-30 minutes until the texture is soft. After that, lift and separate the broth and the chicken head.
Next, puree the chicken head using a blender. To make it easier to puree, you can add a little of the broth.
When smoothing the chicken head, add a little wet food (if any). Once done, transfer it to a large enough container or basin.

After that, prepare a pan and add the chicken broth. Once done, pour the mashed chicken head into the broth. At this stage, also add the plain agar-agar. Then stir and cook until the texture thickens.

When it boils, turn off the heat. Then transfer it into a container. Wait until it cools, then cover the container and put it in the refrigerator. After 1 hour in the refrigerator, this cat food will become denser. You can cut it into pieces as needed.
When you are about to serve it, you can wait for this food to warm up or be at room temperature. Then serve it to your beloved cat.
Reported from stivesvet.com.au, chicken coconut contains omega 3 fats which are very good for cats. In addition, the high protein in it can also make cats fatter more healthily .
