Brilio.net - Pop band from Indonesia, Ten2Five is back to greet its fans with a remake single entitled 'You'. It is known that the song 'You' was popularized by T-Five as their flagship song. Meanwhile, this single is part of a collaborative project between Ten2Five and T-Five. Where Ten2Five remakes the song 'you' and T-Five will remake the song 'You' with their band's characteristics.

With a touch of Ten2Five's signature music, the song 'You' is presented with a fresh new feel but still carries the nostalgia of the original song. Ten2Five vocalist, Imel, said that this single started from a small talk between his team and Yerry, T-Five vocalist, to exchange singles.

"The fun fact is, after entering the production process, we realized that there were many similarities to this project. Apart from the names of each band being similar, the meaning of the song titles is also the same," said Imel (Vocalist).

Thomas, Ten2Five's drummer, revealed that this collaboration project had actually been initiated at the end of 2023. However, because each band has its own work plans, and is hampered by the political calendar in Indonesia, both parties agreed to release the songs 'You' and 'You' simultaneously this June.

Ardhy, Ten2Five guitarist, added that the discussion process with T-Five for the song 'You' was carried out online via Whatsapp Group.

"Initially we exchanged concepts and discussed via Whatsapp Group, while the production process from recording to mixing was agreed to be carried out by each band. "The biggest challenge in this project for the song 'You' is pouring out a new interpretation with a touch of Ten2Five's signature music," he said.

The release of the single 'you' by Ten2Five is a warm-up for the band to return to presenting their original work in the future. Arif, the bass player, hopes that this can be a kind of tribute to T-Five.

"Apart from that, this will also be a bridge for music lovers across generations to be able to continue enjoying legendary songs with a new touch in the current era. Enjoy," concluded Arif.
