Indonesian Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka has shocked netizens again with his latest upload on social media. After previously using a viral template to promote tourism, this time Gibran chose a dangdut song sung by mothers at a celebration event.
The lyrics of the song "Waktu Ku Kecil" are combined with a video of Gibran's working visit while reviewing the MRT phase 2 project. In the video, an MRT project worker is seen asking for a photo with Gibran, with a facial expression that is added with crying emotion animation.
"Today we are reviewing the progress of the Jakarta MRT Phase 2A Glodok -- Kota project at Glodok MRT Station. One of the National Strategic Projects (PSN) has shown significant progress, including the completion of the construction of the tunnel connecting Glodok Station with Kota Station," wrote Gibran in the caption of the video uploaded to his official TikTok account @Gibran_Rakabuming on December 18, 2024.
This seems to be Gibran's way of conveying his performance as vice president to the public. He explained in detail about his working visit.
Gibran emphasized that the Jakarta MRT Phase 2A project is very important to improve connectivity and mobility for the people of Jakarta. In addition, this development also shows the government's commitment to accelerating the completion of strategic infrastructure that will not only reduce congestion but also support the reduction of carbon emissions in Jakarta.
"I appreciate the cooperation of all parties in ensuring the smooth running of the Jakarta MRT project. However, the safety of the workers who have contributed to the success of this project must be maintained," concluded Gibran.
In addition, the son of former president Joko Widodo (Jokowi) also uses artificial intelligence (AI) to express himself dancing to the rhythm of the song. Previously, Jokowi also created similar content highlighting the actions of mothers singing the song "My Little Time".
However, in the video, Jokowi is not seen dancing, but only enjoying the rhythm by shaking his head. The former number one person of Indonesia seemed to be smiling to himself seeing the viral upload of mothers who were enthusiastically singing at a celebration.
Netizens also commented on Gibran's upload. "It seems that this is Gibran's way of communicating his performance as vice president to the public," wrote one netizen.
"Don't let Mr. Kaesang know this sound," continued another netizen. "It must have been Mr. Kaesang who edited this," another chimed in. "Sir, I hope you win the TikTok awards next year," chimed in a netizen.
"Only in Konoha does the vice president look like this," said a netizen in surprise.
Gibran also wished a Happy National Defense Day using AI. In the video, he wore a military uniform and his face was modified to appear to be speaking. The short video reads, "Happy National Defense Day 2024, Keep the Spirit Up!"
Through his Instagram account, on December 19 2024, he said, "Together we will create an Indonesia that is more advanced, tough and prosperous, with love for the Motherland that continues to burn in every step we take."
The caption of the upload reads, "Commemorating National Defense Day, which is our momentum regarding the importance of the spirit of nationalism, unity and maintaining national sovereignty. We are promoting national defense for an Advanced Indonesia."
The comment column was immediately filled with various responses from netizens. "Awesome bro, using AI, the technology of modern development," said netizens.
Gibran is indeed known to often create content that attracts public attention. Previously, the Vice President's TikTok account went viral on December 8, 2024, featuring the Charm of Indonesia with a template that was currently popular with netizens.
"Happy weekend. I borrowed the moves from @Rumah griya. Success for your works," he wrote in the caption of the upload, which featured various tourist destinations such as Padar Island, Komodo National Park, and Raja Ampat.
It didn't take long for netizens to flood the comments column of the upload that had already reached tens of millions of views.
