In the midst of the 2024 Christmas and New Year (Nataru) holiday atmosphere, President Joko Widodo, or familiarly called Jokowi, did not hold an open house. However, his house in Solo City, Central Java, became a magnet for residents who wanted to visit. In a video uploaded to the TikTok account @maria.maribelle, a crowd of residents was seen filling the area outside Jokowi's residence, even until the evening.

"It was really unexpected, I didn't expect that when I met him in person I would be so moved that I cried #fyp," wrote the caption in the video.
Initially, they just wanted to take pictures in front of the house, but Jokowi kindly opened the door and welcomed them, even though he was busy with other agendas at the time. In the video, Jokowi appears relaxed wearing a brown shirt and blue sarong, while holding a spray bottle to water the plants.

Jokowi still serves the mothers who come to take pictures. This interaction also caught the attention of netizens, who commented on Jokowi's appearance which was more relaxed and familiar like a grandfather in general. "Wow, you spray your own plants, sir?" commented one netizen.
After no longer serving as president, Jokowi was seen leaving his house without tight security. On the second day after his retirement, he and Iriana were seen leaving their residence on Jalan Kutai Utara, Solo, in a Toyota Fortuner car without the usual entourage when he was still in office.
In a different moment, Jokowi also had the chance to meet with Prabowo Subianto at his house. The meeting was warm, where they chatted while enjoying traditional dishes. This moment shows the good relationship between the two leaders who are committed to building Indonesia.
