Brilio.net - Adipati Dolken has assumed the title of father with the birth of his baby, Naeswari Isthika Dyah Koesmadji, on December 8 2022. As a parent, of course, Adipati Dolken tries to give the best to his baby.
It is not surprising that the 32 year old actor has started planning several things for his children's future. One of them is related to Naeswari's future education.
Launching from Kemal Pahlevi's YouTube channel on his podcast content, Adipati Dolken revealed that he plans not to send his children to school. He had even discussed this with his wife, even though their daughter was only one year old.
"I've talked about this again with Canti. We are thinking about not sending our children to school," said Adipati, quoted by brilio.net from Kemal Palevi's YouTube, Monday (29/4).
Even so, Adipati said that the conversation about not sending his children to school was still just talk. This decision may change at a later date.
"This is still surface discussion, it's not really that deep, so it could change at any time," he explained.
The Duke apparently had a reason behind his unusual decision. The German man wanted his daughter to take various kinds of lessons.
"I feel like we, let's just tutor the most of our children, like what they want, where they're comfortable, we'll just tutor them like that," he said.
The star of the film Posesif admitted that he would use this method to help his child explore his potential. So he is ready to facilitate various types of tutoring that his daughter wants to explore. As for his primary education, he intends to provide homeschooling to his child.
"For example, 'do you want piano lessons?' Or 'do you want this lesson or not?', 'what kind of lesson do you want?'. "So it's up to you (the child) to take whatever lessons you want," explained Adipati Dolken.
"We just homeschool the rest. We homeschool the basics," he added.
Regarding the debate that homeschooling prevents children from learning to socialize with friends, Adipati Dolken disagrees. Duke ensures that Naeswari still has friends by taking public, not private, tutoring.
With this method, Adipati Dolken hopes that his child can recognize his potential and focus on one goal as early as possible. In fact, he doesn't mind if the child's desires change over time. This is what usually happens to discover talent and potential in children.
"So that he has one goal, that's what I mean. It's okay to change, because he has to try everything, right. In my opinion, so that we can find out where his potential is in the future," explained Adipati.
The Duke's views immediately sparked various reactions from netizens. Some agree with that idea.
However, some claim that this decision is not good for children's growth and development and the way they socialize. There are also those who say that this decision can only be reached by parents who have a lot of money.
"More likely to focus on the child's interests and talents. I agree that this is the concept. It doesn't mean not going to school in the sense of not caring about the child's education," wrote @dessy_stiv
"If my monthly salary was 60 million, I would also homeschool my children," said @umimuhammad19
"Rich people are free...," said @mrsright0
"The downside to homeschooling is that he's afraid he won't be able to socialize in a wider area," said @faniorvia
