Brilio.net - Lip embroidery is a semi-permanent cosmetic procedure that involves injecting pigment into the top layer of the lip skin using micro needles. This technique is similar to tattooing but is specifically designed to provide a softer and more natural look.

The goal is to improve color, enhance shape, and give volume to the lips, creating a fresh-looking pout without the daily use of lipstick. During the procedure, pigments are carefully injected to create the desired color, and the results can last between one and three years, depending on the treatment and skin type .

In addition, lip embroidery can also correct imperfections such as asymmetrical lips or uneven lip color, providing more aesthetic and visually beautiful results. But unfortunately, not all lip embroidery procedures get perfect results.

Not a few actually end up regretting because the results are not as expected. As experienced by a TikTok user with the account name @lusianaivonne, who regretted after doing eyebrow embroidery. Not without reason, after doing the beauty treatment, the account owner known as Lusiana actually suffered from a lifelong illness.

"My experience of lip embroidery and being unlucky, I wanted beautiful lips but instead I got herpes huhu," she wrote in the caption of the uploaded video, which briliobeauty.net quoted on Tuesday (10/9).

The story began when Lusiana decided to do lip embroidery to beautify the appearance of her lips. The reason was, she felt her lips looked pale and less fresh. On the day of the treatment, like most procedures, Lusiana's lips were applied with anesthetic cream first. This was done to reduce irritation and pain during the lip embroidery process.

In the next slide, Lusiana's lips look bright red like the results of lip embroidery in general. Even though she wanted her lips to look naturally pink.

"The color I want is like this... they say that at the beginning the color will be different, but later the color will be more pronounced and natural after 2-3 months," she said.

3 days after the embroidery, Lusiana began to peel off the embroidery on her lips. However, after the peel off process, Lusiana felt itchy on one side of her lips. Not only that, her lips also felt sore and like there was liquid in them.

After being left for some time, her lips looked like wounds and bled. Finally, Lusiana decided to do a herpes test, considering the characteristics she experienced on her lips were the same as the characteristics of herpes.

"And it turned out that the result was positive. Hikss, it's sad because herpes is a virus that enters the blood. The herpes scars can disappear but cannot be completely cured. It can recur at any time if the body's immune system is not good," he continued.

After the examination, Lusiana was finally given some kind of medicine or ointment to treat the herpes on her lips. Luckily, the wound on her lips gradually dried up and healed.
