16 Mei 2016 09:07Brilio.net/en - Mothers are the movers of this world. Not only do they carry humans in their womb for nine months, but they are the ones who turn our dull life into a colourful one. This particular mother survived the years of wars in Iraq and escaped the horrible reality to a colourful world. She uses her spare time for doing what she loves most: her art.
Her beautiful works of art started at the most unlikely place: the kitchen. It was where she learned how to quill colored papers which always left people amazed, not only with their beauty but also how she could find the time to work on her art.
Her very first projects was a simple butterfly and she hasnt stopped since then. Beauty in general, but music especially inspires her.
Starting a new project is the hardest part. I keep listening to music and searching lists of pictures and trying to imagine each picture in the quilled paper, she said. I make the design of a specific photo on Photoshop or sketch it on paper then, I select the appropriate grade of colors and start preparing them after which I design the shapes and finally glue them to the design.
Having free time to work on hobbies and having fun with her kids is all a mother could ask for. And thats the message the Turkey-based mom wants to convey: We, mothers, can always spare time to do what we love to do.
