Brilio.net/en - Australian blogger and loving mother Sophie Cachia didnt want to get married like everybody else. She refused a traditional, white wedding gown andopted for a drop deadgorgeous black gown instead.
Her husband is also having an authentic taste of style. Instead of a black tuxedo, he wore a maroon dinner jacket with a paisley shirt, black bow tie, and leather pants. The couple says that they did it for themselves, and Sophie made herself clear:

Evidently, though, my 18-month-old son Bobby is proof that that boat sailed years ago. I only assume that throughout my experiences and knowledge of our generation that if only virgins wore white, wed be seeing more of an array of multi-coloured brides.

Unlike most other women who dream of walking down the aisle in a classic white dress, Sophie said she never saw herself in such traditional colours. Going against the popular belief which says that getting married in a black dress is considered bad luck, for her, black is rather classic.
It looks good on just about everyone. Its bold, its sexy, its daring, she said. My now husband suggested I wear black when we first got engaged.

Seems like Sophie and Jaryd took peoples opinions and judgements with a grain of salt. They held a big wedding bash with tons of pizza and paella, where their guests can eat and have fun and feel comfortable, just as the bride and groom enjoyed themselves in their own skins. Obviously, they dont do anything by the book.
I simply see it as me wearing exactly what I wanted to on my wedding day, not what I thought I had to wear, Sophie said.
