Brilio.net - A video that recently went viral on social media shows an act of extortion (pungli) carried out by a gas station operator to customers who fill up with Pertamax fuel. The video shows an officer at gas station 54.80153 located on Jalan Pulau Komodo, West Denpasar, Bali, who is narrated as cutting the consumer's gas fill-up money by Rp5,000 for 'admin fees'.

According to the video description, the consumer wanted to fill up with Pertamax fuel for Rp100 thousand, but the gas station attendant only filled in Rp95 thousand and stated that the remaining Rp5,000 was an admin fee. In the video recording, an argument was seen between the consumer and the female gas station attendant.

"Where are the regulations? Are there any written regulations? Show me the regulations, if there are regulations I will give you Rp5,000. I bought Pertamax, not Pertalite," said a consumer in the video.

However, the gas station attendant insisted on collecting extortion money of Rp. 5 thousand from consumers.

"Sir, it's everywhere, sir. Just try looking somewhere else," he exclaimed.

The consumer stated that he would give Rp. 5,000 if there were clear regulations in the law, but the officer could not show the regulations.

"Even if there are written regulations or laws, I will pay whatever you ask. I don't have a problem with money, but please work honestly," said the video recorder.

Responding to the viral video, Pertamina moved quickly to investigate the incident.
