When athletes win a trophy, its typically added to the trophy cabinet to collect dust. Pro Golfer Danielle Kang however, showed last week that she is indeed a champion both on and off the green.
After winning the KPMG Womens PGA Championship in Illinois on July 2, Kang found herself celebrating in the most delicious way she even brought her own bowl! Her brother Alex Kang posted this photo on Instagram after the win:
Documented on Snapchat, Kangs celebratory pho was later washed down with a trophy cup overflowing with beer.In an interview with Barstool Sports Fore Play, the 24-year-old said she had some Asian crap going on, ate some noodles out of it. Theres nothing open that late at night so we gotta go get some noodles.
I had my caddies drink beer out of it, I ate noodles out of that thing, and then we had to return it, she said.
As if eating noodles out of a trophy wasnt cool enough, Danielle posted a video of herwell-rehearsed handshake with teammate Michelle Wie. We cant wait to see what she does with her next trophy.
