Brilio.net - The name The Simpsons is familiar to fans of old cartoons. Because, The Simpsons is an American animated comedy cartoon series created by Matt Groening. Just like cartoons in general, this show, which has been broadcast since December 17 1989, is a light and entertaining show.

But there is one thing that is special, namely that the episode has many moments that are realized in real life. One of the truths of the cartoon, which has 750 episodes, is that Trump will become president of the United States. This was broadcast in the 11th season episode entitled "Bart to the Future" in 2000.

Sure enough, Donald Trump was officially elected as the winner of the Presidential Election in the United States 16 years later. Not only that, there are many predictions from this cartoon series that have managed to shock the public. Because of this, it is not uncommon for people to believe that some of the episodes are predictions for the future.

Apart from predicting Trump becoming president, the cartoon is said to have predicted Trump's death. In footage circulating on social media, Donald Trump is seen lying in a coffin in a suit. The still image became a trending topic again after the shooting incident experienced by Trump .

As is known, recently there was an assassination attempt on the former and future president of the United States. Donald Trump was shot by an unknown person while campaigning in Pennsylvania. About five shots were fired, making Donald Trump's ears bleed. He was immediately evacuated by the Secret Service and rushed to receive medical treatment.

However, Donald Trump survived the shooting incident. This makes netizen X think that the cartoon which was quite powerful in predicting the future ultimately failed. Unlike the cartoon showing Trump lying in a coffin, in reality, Donald Trump is reportedly fine from the incident.

"This is the first time I have seen a Simpsons prediction fail," said the account @kirawontmiss, reported by brilio.net on Sunday (14/7).

Investigating further , it turns out that netizens used the same image to predict Trump's death during Covid-19 in 2020. At that time, along with the news that Donald Trump was infected with Covid-19, someone uploaded the image with the narrative 'will The Simpsons be true again?'.

However, it turns out, this image is not part of The Simpsons cartoon. They never showed Donald Trump in a coffin in any of their episodes. However, many people still upload it, perhaps just for fun.

Reporting from Antaranews, a fact-checking site called Snopes, in 2017, said that the Huffington Post was the party that first raised rumors of Trump's death. The upload felt convincing, because the news site from New York did not put a watermark on the image.

For your information, Trump currently appears to be fine after receiving medical treatment. Not long after the shooting incident, he immediately flew to New Jersey using a private jet. He got off the plane flanked by Secret Service agents and heavily armed counterattack team members.

However, this prediction became a joke on X. Netizens responded with various comments and memes showing Trump's face.

" He's stronger than The Simpsons curse ," said the account @petersteve8209.

" My Goat wouldn't have died like that ," wrote the account @cjsweet567.

" This is the final battle. There is nothing they will not do to stop Donald Trump. Nothing can stop what is coming, " said the account @momen_mirthful.

" They underestimate the big man, " commented the account @basedmoby.
