Brilio.net/en - What kind of world would it be, where there were many singular selves, together? I was curious
That was a thought of Daisuke Takakura which finally led him to create his own clone world called Monodramatic.
The title of his project refers to the type of theater where one actor goes through the whole production. Sure enough, in this series, Takakura puts a character only in the frame of a photo in which the person interacts with plentiful clones.
This project incorporates graphic design and theater into my visual photographic practice. I wanted to harness the expressive power of theater in a still image, revealed Takakura.
The Japanese photographer brilliantly built numerous scenes using a combo of traditional photography, theatrical staging, and post production editing to bring a shower of busy and noisy clones to the frame.
