Six countries will attend the conference.

Indonesia is going to be the host of Sub-Regional Meeting on Foreign Terrorist Fighters and Cross Border Terrorism this weekend.
The conference is going to focus on terrorism in South East Asia.

"This event will be held in Manado on July 29for two days,"said Coordinating Minister of Politics, Law, and Security Wiranto on Wednesday through a statement.

Indonesia, Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Filipina, Malaysia and New Zealand will attend the conference.

The six countries will discuss possible methods to eradicate ISIS activities in South Philippines, especially in Sulu area.

Whether its cyber, whether we go into the area by doing joint maritime patrols, or exchange information and experience. Together we learn how fighter terrorist who come back to their own countries, or try to cut their logistics path. We are going to discuss all of these, he said.

Wiranto also stated that Indonesia has been appreciated for the ability to deal with terrorism through many ways including soft approach.

A coordination meeting for the conference preparation was held in Wirantos office yesterday, attended by Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi, National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT) leader Comr. Gen. Suhardi Alius, Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPTAK) Kiagus Ahmad Badaruddin and Coordinating Political, Legal, and Security Affairs Ministry officials.
