Denny admitted that he bought the house during his approach to Sandra Dewi. Denny was determined to buy a house near Sandra Dewi's residence. Unfortunately, his hopes were dashed because Sandra Dewi married Harvey Moeis.

"I bought this when I was traveling with Sandra Dewi. So if I'm not mistaken, in 2008, I knew Sandra," said Denny Sumargo to Andre Taulany, quoted by brilio.net from the Taulany TV YouTube channel, Monday (26/2).

Sandra Dewi advised Denny to buy a house in this area. Denny also followed Sandra's advice, hoping to have an affair with the actress nicknamed the 'Queen of Advertisements'.

"Because he bought a house near here, he told me, 'Just invest here, Den'. Well, my goal of investing at that time was to be close to Sandra Dewi. So I bought the one here," he explained.

Having already bought it, Denny finally moved into the house he now shares with his wife. The design of the house is also unique. Like the part of the kitchen which turned out to be converted into a podcast room.
