After a disappointing draw against Laos, the Indonesian national team is now looking optimistically towards the match against Vietnam. Midfielder Rivaldo Pakpahan showed high fighting spirit and is determined to win the match which will take place at Vietri Stadium on Sunday, December 15, 2024.
The Garuda squad, despite just getting a 3-3 draw, will not be afraid to face Vietnam. Rivaldo emphasized that they are ready to fight hard to get the three much-needed points. In a press conference ahead of the match, he stated, "We believe we can win even though we are not favored."
This shows how important a positive mentality is for the team in facing challenges on the field. With thorough preparation, Rivaldo and his teammates hope to give their best performance and surprise their opponents. "All of us players are ready to play tomorrow," added Rivaldo, emphasizing the team's readiness despite the limited preparation time.
However, the challenges do not stop there. The Indonesian national team will certainly not appear at full strength due to the absence of several key players, including talented playmaker Marcelino Ferdinan who must be absent due to a red card suspension. Losing Marcelino is certainly a big loss, considering his vital role in organizing the game.
The coach must now find alternative strategies to fill the void left by Marcelino. Nevertheless, the spirit and determination of the Indonesian National Team remain high, and they are ready to fight extra hard to face Vietnam, which is known as a tough opponent.
