Zajkov prefers to use Fimo and Cernit polymer clay for the dolls, hand-painted glass eyes he got made by a German artist and French mohair wig made from real human hair for the hair. The dolls are dressed in 1910-1915 French-style to add its antiquities. The details are so carefully thought here that the self-tailored dresses are made from batiste, voile, silk and antique laceall the fabrics used in France from the 20th century. He even made the leather shoes by himself, as shown in his Instagram videos.

"The inspiration to create my first doll was the work of Laura Scattolini and Rotraut Schrott," said Zajkov. It was 2010 when he first made it. After that hundreds of dolls were made with different emotion, character and personality. Zajkov is now receiving orders for these lovely dolls and ship them inside a pretty wooden box.
