If a modern update on classic properties is enough to have us excited than others, then a reboot to Sisworo Gautama Putra's "Pengabdi Setan" (Satan's Slave) will surely turn into one of the most highly anticipated remakes on the horizon.

Released in 1982, the original film has drawn resemblance to American horror "Phantasm" (1979) by Don Coscarelli and won the status as classic Indonesian cult. And after a series of teaser, Rapi Film last night finally dropped the first full trailer of Joko Anwar's version of the film.

After suffering a mysterious illness for three years, a mother of a family finally passed away. The father then decided to commute to work, leaving his children unattended, alone in the house until they feel a ghostly presence of their mother who returns not only to pay a visit, but to pick them to the other side.

Starred by Tara Basro, Bront Palarae, Dimas Aditya, and Asmara Abigail, "Pengabdi Setan" hit terrorize the big screen starting September 28, 2017.
