As is known, earning a living at this time is a challenge for most Indonesians. This condition is exacerbated by the increase in the prices of various basic necessities which makes people have to be smart in managing their finances and living as frugally as possible.
Therefore, many people choose to live simply like a young mother who went viral on TikTok. The owner of the account @dindavazira shared a portrait of her life living in a rented room with her 9-month-old baby.
" Don't teach me to be simple because I can live in a rented room and sell at the same time, the room is separated by plywood and the kitchen is only 1 meter wide + there is a 9-month-old baby ," wrote @dindavazira in the caption of her video, quoted by brilio.net on Tuesday (8/10).
The tiny rental is divided into three parts to maximize its function. The front part is used as a small grocery store that is a source of daily income. Despite living in limitations, this young mother is still grateful to be able to live life with her child.
She tried to make the most of the small space to do her activities and earn a living. Although simple, netizens praised the mother's neatness in making her home comfortable. They also encouraged her.
" It's really that comfortable to live simply. A small house is easy to clean. No need to worry about beautifying the house, etc. ," said @deena.sr.
" Don't pray for me to have my own house soon, sis. Keep up the good work, sis, " said @liilyliiya.
" I once lived in a 6x8 kiosk, while selling rice, thank God now I've bought a car and a house. Keep up the spirit, God willing, your fortune will not be exchanged, " said @daralis17.
" There's nothing wrong with living life like that. Live it and be grateful. You don't need to be rich in this world, what's important is that we don't harm other people ," said @diamantashop.
" Sis, it's more comfortable like this than having to stay with my in-laws, " said @rahmanovitasari440.
