For the first time in history, the Commemoration Ceremony of the Proclamation of Independence of the Republic of Indonesia was held in the Capital City of the Archipelago (IKN) on Saturday, August 17, 2024. President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) led this historic ceremony, accompanied by a number of ministers and high-ranking state officials.
