Losing a loved one can leave deep sorrow for anyone. Even though the body is separated, there are many ways to still feel close to those who have passed.
One of them was done by a wife in North Maluku who made her husband's grave so special. She built a small house as a place to remember and visit her husband.
From the outside, this house looks like a simple residence with a dominant pink color and neat glass windows. However, who would have thought that the inside of this house is actually a tomb equipped with various furniture like a regular house.
The deceased's wife designed the place with great care to provide comfort for the family when they visit. The building is even equipped with various facilities to support family activities while they are there.
The woman explained that the house is not only a form of respect, but also a place to share beautiful memories with the deceased. The decision was made so that the family would still feel close to the deceased every time they came to visit.
Below, brilio.net has collected portraits from various sources on Wednesday (18/12).
This house is pink and stands on the edge of Meti Sea, North Maluku, with a stunning view. The building has one small door and several glass windows.
