Chinese New Year has passed on Saturday, but the festivities are still far from the end. In fact, the season has just started.
Though many opted to spend the actual day with celebrations and feasts, some spared time to give thanks to the Gods and pray for a better year ahead.
We went to Dharma Bhakti Temple, one of Jakarta's oldest temples, to see the activities on the big day.
Here are some snapshotstaken by our photographer, Jefri Aries.
Temple workers and visitors are crowding the Dharma Bhakti Temple in Glodok, West Jakarta, on Chinese New Year's day.
