Lina Mukherjee finally breathed free air from the Class II A Women's Prison in Palembang on Wednesday (11/20/2024). Although sentenced to two years in prison by the panel of judges, Lina was able to be released earlier because she received a remission thanks to her behavior which was considered good during her sentence.
During her 16 months behind bars, Lina Mukherjee not only served her sentence, but also learned many life lessons. Lina also actively participated in various trainings provided for inmates.
Lina expressed her happiness as she welcomed her freedom. In a video uploaded by her team, Lina expressed her joy enthusiastically.

Through her statement, Lina indicated her future plans to return to the screen. She said that her first step was to head to Jakarta before returning to her hometown in Samarinda.
"Of course, I'll go to Jakarta first, shoot for TV first, then go to Kalimantan to celebrate in the village," he said further.
When she got out of prison, Lina appeared graceful in a purple dress made by inmates. Her appearance managed to steal the public's attention because her aura was more positive.
