Reports are coming of blasts in tourist destinations

Blaise Hope   12 August 2016 11:26 - - Several people have been killed in at least seven explosions across Thailand after earlier bombings on the tourist island of Phuket. 

The explosions began Thursday evening and have continued into Friday. 

The Daily Mail reports two blasts in Patong, Phuket, four in Hua Hin split with two each on Thursday and Friday, one in Surat Thani and one in Southern Trang. 

There is as yet no indication of responsibility. 

As well as two in Patong, there were four blasts in Hua Hin - two on Thursday night and two on Friday morning - one in the island gateway town of Surat Thani on Friday morning, and one in southern Trang on Thursday.
