The search for Islamic Defender Front leader Rizieq Shihab continues.

Sugito Atmo Prawiro, Rizieqs lawyer, said that his client will not return to Indonesia to answer police summon regarding his sex chat case.

Before the law (in Indonesia) is fair to all, not only for those with power, Habib (Rizieq) is considering not to return to Indonesia, he said to Kompas today. He might even not return until Joko Widodo is no longer the president.

President Joko Widodo still has two years in office, and possibly five more if hes reelected in 2019.

Sugito added that Rizieqs cases, especially the pornography one, are fabricated because some people wanted revenge on the cleric.

I think that someone is disappointed with Ahoks loss (in Jakarta election). President Jokowi, PDIP and Megawati, he said. (They might see) that it will be dangerous for 2019 (election) if Habib (Rizieq) is not jailed as he still has the power to mobilize (the people).

Meanwhile, the police are preparing to take further step should Rizieq really does not want to answer their summon.

National Police Spokesperson Ins. Gen. Setyo Wasisto said this morning that the police are considering to ask for Interpols help to find Rizieq by issuing a blue notice.

The issuance of a blue notice does not mean that someone is a suspect. We can still seek for help although hes not a suspect, he said on a televised talk show. Its just to see where he is, not to bring him home by force.

However, should investigators need to issue a red notice (a request to search for a fugitive or a missing suspect), its possible to do so.
