One month after his visit to Indonesia, famous, yet controversial, Islamic cleric Zakir Naik is making news again.

Naik came in April to Indonesia for a national tour where he provided sermons in five cities Bekasi, Yogyakarta, Ponorogo, Makassar and Bandung.

Naik is widely popular in Indonesia, proven by the thousands of attendees who came to his sermons, including state officials and mass organizations.

Do you know where hes not that popular?

India, his home country.

He is wanted by the Indian government for spreading terrorism propaganda and money laundering.

Two arrest warrants have been issued by authorities to get him.

National Investigation Agency (NIA) a central agency established by the Indian Government to combat terror in India has approached Interpol for red notice against Naik. With the red notice, any international security agency has the official permission to arrest Naik when he is spotted.

Previously, Naik has failed to show up three times for NIA questioning. He was probed for spreading provocative speeches and hatred, inciting violence, money laundering and terrorism.

Indian authority's sources said that Naik is currently hiding in Saudi Arabia but frequently travels to Malaysia and Indonesia.
