Brilio.net/en - The new visual album concept of the famous singer is all over the news in the USA but also worldwide. It was the front page of the digital edition of the New York Times and the release of the video last Saturday blew up the web! The American Superstar succeeded in creating a real event on digital media, Lemonade was all over the internet and the social networks this weekend, and still on everyones lips.

The concept of the visual album is simple, there is a video clip for each song, its kind of a short movie. Highly personal confessed Beyonc: personal topics about her private life (her marriage to the rapper Jay-Z, the rumours of infidelity she had to face, the constant media exposure of the couple, etc.), but also personal opinions about the singers favourite political matters. Beyonc is known for her political engagement and fights in favour of woman but also Afro-American peoples cause in general.

The video of Formation was already a hit, letting us guess that an album was coming soon and that it will be explicitly politically engaged. Most medias agree to say that the songs are a reflection of Beyoncs intimacy and that the visual help the audience to understand where she comes from and how a woman like her has to deal in the current world balancing tradition, feminism and the overall system.

Many references to the conditions of black people are made and everyone can tell the overall symbolism behind the short movie, that can be resumed with the few sentences pronounced by leader Malcom in the middle of a song: The most insulted person in America is the black woman. The most vulnerable person is the black woman. The most overlooked person is the black woman.

Among the press critics the last days include:

#blackgirlmagic at its most potent,

The love letter to black women weve been thirsting for,

Lemonade argues that dignity for all begins with dignity for one,

Etc.

Lemonade, is definitely already a must-watch!
