Brilio.net/en - Indonesia's upcoming 71st Indepenence Day this August 17th is being celebrated throughout the archipelago from fairs to carnivals, neighborhood competitions and parades. Everycorner of the country has its own unique celebration, and one in particular stands out.

Many of Indonesia's netizens were shocked by one such parade featuring a marching group performing in Singaraja, Bali. In a video posted by Krisnantara's Facebook account, a group of female high school students can be seen dressed from head to toe in traditional school uniform.

Yet online there is a dispute about whether or not they are 'real' female students. For one, they surely don't walk like the average girl. Rather, they saunter with the strut of a model on a catwalk. After a second look at their faces, many onlinesaid theysuspected the uniformed girls to be transgender females.

"Ouch, they are ladyboys a.k.a shemale," said a netizen. "Why are they wearing school uniforms? It's not good to be seen by kids," said another netizen.

Although the video received many negative comments, there were also some who reacted positively and considered this a mere spectacle intended to spice things up. "You guys think too much, they just want to enliven the parade and show their nationalism, don't overreact." said a netizen.

In less than 24 hours, the video has already been viewed by over 1 million viewers and received 6,000 likes and 29,000 shares. Feel free to watch the video below...
