Brilio.net - Bad odor in clothes, especially in the armpits, is often a disturbing problem. This problem not only affects the person experiencing it, but can also disturb the comfort of the people around them.
This odor is usually caused by several factors, such as body odor , and the type of clothing material also plays an important role. Synthetic materials such as polyester and nylon tend not to absorb sweat well. As a result, sweat is trapped on clothes, and creates the growth of bacteria, germs and viruses, especially in the armpit area. This condition ultimately results in an unpleasant body odor.
To overcome this, most people usually use clothes freshener when washing. But sometimes this method doesn't work because germs and bacteria are still stuck on the clothes. To get rid of it, you can use two simple ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen, you know. This method was shared by the owner of the Instagram account @casanaf, via video upload.
"Tips for washing and removing underarm odor from clothes," he wrote, quoted by BrilioFood from Instagram @casanaf_, Thursday (1/8).
The account owner appears to use two kitchen ingredients, namely baking soda and vinegar. He also prepared dish soap to continue the steps to eliminate underarm odor this time.

First, prepare the clothes you want to remove underarm odor from. Lay the clothes out on a flat surface such as the floor or table, then sprinkle the underarms of the clothes with baking soda. You can sprinkle it using a spoon so that the results are even.
After that, add enough dish soap on top of the baking soda. Then, add white vinegar on top. It is known that white vinegar is a natural cleaner that is effective in removing odors. The acetic acid in vinegar helps neutralize odors and kills odor-causing bacteria.

Then, use an unused toothbrush to clean bacteria from the armpits of your clothes. Brush the underarm area of the shirt until it foams.
"It hurts that the clothes still smell," he continued.
Then, let it sit for a while so that the bacteria in the armpits of the clothes disappear first. After that, you can wash your clothes as usual. That way, the underarm odor on clothes will disappear because the germs are dead.
