If the fan is dirty, the wind produced by the fan will not be optimal.

Brilio.net - Fans are one of the electronic devices used by many people. Not without reason, fans are often used to provide a refreshing effect when the weather is hot. In fact, it's not uncommon for every house to have more than one fan, you know.

Because it is often used continuously, the fan gets dirty quickly. Dust usually accumulates on fan nets. Even if you leave it like that, a pile of dust will also stick to the surface of the fan blades, you know.

The buildup of dust clearly makes the appearance of the fan unsightly. Apart from that, the wind produced by the fan is not optimal. If it is still forced to turn on, the dust in the fan will actually spread throughout the house.

A number of people ended up immediately cleaning the dirty fan by dismantling it. Even though it is maximally clean, this method is considered ineffective because not everyone can reassemble the fan parts as before.

To get around this, you can imitate the practical way to clean a fan shown by TikTok user @sea_ayoumy. Through one of the uploaded videos, he admitted that he only relied on two kitchen ingredients as cleaning agents.

How to clean fan dust.

Reported by BrilioFood from TikTok @sea_ayoumy on Monday (25/3), the kitchen ingredients used were dish soap and baking soda. Meanwhile, for his tools, he seems to be using a spray bottle, brush and plastic bag.

How to clean it is fairly easy. First, mix around 4-5 tablespoons of dish soap with 1/2 tablespoon of baking soda in a spray bottle. Add enough water, close the spray bottle then shake until all ingredients are completely mixed.

Before the cleaning solution is sprayed, first clean the fan mesh with a brush. Do this process until all the dust on the fan nets is gone.

Once it's done, turn on the fan slowly so that all the dust falls out. After that, just spray the cleaning solution all over the fan.

After that, wrap the fan in plastic. Do the wrapping from the bottom to the top of the fan. Don't forget to put duct tape on each end so that the plastic doesn't open.

If so, turn on the fan for 30 minutes. That way, all the dust can fall out and be collected in the plastic bag.

After turning it on for 30 minutes, turn off the fan. Open the plastic bag slowly and the appearance of the fan will immediately shine like new again. Without needing to rinse with water, all parts of the fan appear to be maximally clean.

Easy way to deal with a fan that won't turn on.

Here are some steps you can try to solve a fan that won't turn on.

1. Check the power supply.

Make sure your fan is connected to a good electrical power source. Also make sure the power switch or button is in the "ON" position.

2. Check the socket.

Make sure the socket where you plug the fan is working properly. Try plugging another device into the same outlet to ensure that a power source is available.

3. Check the cable.

Check your fan's power cable to ensure there is no damage or short circuit. If there is damage, replace the damaged cable with a new one.

4. Check the switch.

Make sure the power switch or button on the fan is working properly. Sometimes the switch can be damaged or pinched, thereby blocking the flow of electricity.

5. Check security.

Some fans are equipped with a safety feature that can turn off the fan if it gets too hot. Let the fan cool for a while and try turning it on again.

Be sure to turn off the fan and unplug it from the power source before performing any inspection or repair to prevent electrical injury. If you are unsure or uncomfortable doing repairs yourself, it is better to call a professional technician to help you.
