Yopis story went viral after a Facebook groups post by Supic Smoot account, which stated that the boy is actually obliged to help his mom and make a living for his family. It is unclear why Yopi, who lives in Malang, East Java with his family, has to do such tough job, or whether the condition of his family has forced him to take on the burden.
Yopis photos are captioned by Supic Smoot, who wrote: The 9-year-old Yopi, left school and works hard to help his beloved mom. (Group) admins, feel free to remove this post if its considered unauthorized.
The photos show Yopi working as a stone mason during a culverts construction project in the Kemantren area in Malang.
The post managed to grab Netizens attention, who share and left various comments which most of them wishing for the young boys well-being in the future.
