The video was uploaded by the TikTok account @apakabarrrrrrrrr showing the atmosphere after Friday prayers. Desta's friend looked calm performing the sunnah prayer before the obligatory prayer.

Not a few netizens were surprised to see the former Club 80's personnel praying, considering that Vincent had previously made a controversial statement about faith.

"That's why people say, 'Wow, you don't pray'. Yes, that's okay, yes, I'm going to hell, that's okay. Go ahead if you want to go to heaven. But, people also don't know that I also pray and I'm trying to fix that," explained Vincent.
Although he had said he was resigned to life and faith, the moment Vincent performed Friday prayers was a positive thing in the eyes of netizens. Many appreciated his steps to re-engage in worship, even though it was done without major publicity.
