When Gilang Dirga was in junior high school, his uncle's son was also accepted into the Air Force. which finally made Gilang want to become a member of the TNI.
"Every time he comes home for Eid, he (his uncle's son) wears a cruiser suit, a cruiser suit is really cool, his body is so tight, and everyone is like 'oh he's so dashing', they all worship him," said Gilang Dirga as quoted by brilio.net on Armand Maulana's YouTube channel.
With strong determination, Gilang Dirga nurtured his dream from an early age by exercising every day until his body was formed. Adiezty Fersa's husband registered for the Military Academy during his second semester of college. Because he focused on preparing to enter the Military Academy, Gilang put college aside.
His self-confidence increased when the Akmil praised his body by calling him, "potential Kopassus commander."
"When I tested at Danrem 041 Gamas in Bengkulu, the soldiers were already tapping me on the shoulder, 'wow, our future commander', 'wow, Kopassus here'. After being appointed like that, I became more confident, confident," said Gilang Dirga.

However, during the health test, the man born in August 1989 did not pass because he was declared to have tonsil symptoms. Gilang Dirga's feelings were raging to the point of stress. Not only that, the actor of the film Rumah Kentang also revealed that he could only be alone in his room for a long time.
Even so, Gilang Dirga has now accepted Akmil and admits that everyone has their own path. He then chose to move to Jakarta to join a modeling competition held by a designer named Ramli every year. Not in vain, Gilang won three categories.
After receiving the title, he and the other top three winners received an unwritten contract to be Ramli's fashion models for a year with the benefit of traveling around Indonesia. From there, Gilang began to explore his career as an artist.
