Brilio.net - There was something interesting during the Kotak Band's 2 Decade Concert at the Senayan Basketball Hall, Saturday (11/24/2024) night. National Team Coach Shin Tae-yong also witnessed the stage performance of the band fronted by Tantri (Vocals), Cella (Guitar), and Chua (Bass).
Shin Tae-yong who was sitting in the VVIP stands waved to the audience when his name was called by Tantri from the stage. Since entering the stands, Shin Tae-yong had attracted the attention of the audience, most of whom were Kotak Fans, the nickname for Kotak Band fans.
They didn't expect Coach Shin to attend the concert. Suddenly, when Shin Tae-yong entered the stands, he immediately received a warm welcome from the audience.
This concert is not only to celebrate the existence of the band that was formed from The Dream Band event 20 years ago, but also to be dedicated to the Kotak Friends who have loyally supported this band for two decades.
"Twenty years of Kotak's work in Indonesia. Thank you for attending, Kotak's relatives, relatives, and families who have attended. Welcome to the Kotak Two Decade Concert," said Tantri.
Kotak opened the concert promoted by Megapro Communication with a number of songs that immediately rocked the stage such as Pesta, Energi, Rock Never Dies, Satu Indonesia , and Luarkan Saja. No doubt this series of songs made the audience roar.
A moment later, Kotak seemed to slow down the tempo by performing mellow songs such as Masih Cinta , Selalu Cinta , and Selain Kamu . The entire audience sang along. They seemed to be captivated by the songs they performed.
After that, Tantri began to greet a number of parties who supported the holding of this concert, starting from sponsors and all parties who helped. Tantri explained that the preparation for this concert only lasted for 4 months. Tanri also did not forget to greet Shin Tae-yong.

After Sara Wijayanto, it was rapper Yacko's turn to perform with Kotak by singing the song Sabda Netizen . Followed by the song Budak Konten .
After that, Kotak sang the song Diatas Cinta with an acoustic arrangement. Previously, Kotak said that the song was dedicated to the family who have supported them for 20 years.
"Actually, I really want my father and mother to come here to hear this song. However, my father is no longer here, hopefully he is happy up there," said Tantri, who then sang the song Diatas Cinta .
In the middle of their performance, the entire family, starting from the children, husband, wife, and mother of Tantri, Chua, and Cella, went up on stage while carrying flowers. The atmosphere became even more emotional. "Thank you for all your support," said Tantri while crying.
After the atmosphere full of blue emotion, Kotak returned to rock with songs such as Long Live Rock N Roll , Kosong Tujuh and Masih Ada with Marcello Tahitoe (Ello) which made the atmosphere even more thunderous. Ello's appearance made the Kaum Wawa audience excited. After that, Kotak continued its action by performing the songs Haters and Pelan Pelan Saja . There was also a performance by Sean Siburian, the son of legendary musician Pay Burman who showed his guitar playing skills.
At the end of the concert, Kotak performed Kickan Dari Langit , which was specially dedicated to Shin Tae-yong and the Indonesian National Team while giving support so that they can continue to compete in the World Cup. "Thank you Shin Tae-yong," said Tantri from the stage before closing the 2 Decade Concert with the song Beraksi. In total, Kotak successfully performed 24 songs at the concert and managed to captivate the audience. After the concert, some of Kotak's relatives waited for Shin Tae-yong to leave the arena while cheering him on while giving support to the National Team.
