The father of actress Jessica Iskandar , Hardy Iskandar, passed away on Saturday (28/12) at 06.30 WIB at home after battling the disease he suffered from. Even so, Jessica only shared this news through a post on her social media account on Sunday (29/12).
Hardy Iskandar was known as an extraordinary figure in the eyes of Jessica and her family. For her, Hardy was not only a father but also a protector, teacher, and source of strength throughout her life. Hardy's departure left deep sorrow for the family, especially Jessica who looked devastated.
According to information shared by Jessica, Hardy's body was laid out at the Sentosa Gatot Subroto Funeral Home. The cremation procession is scheduled to take place on January 1, 2025 after the flower night held the day before.
Jessica expressed her deep sense of loss over the passing of her beloved father. She said that Hardy Iskandar was a loving person, always supportive without ever showing anger towards his children.

"Our beloved father has passed away. Rest in peace Papa Hardy Iskandar. December 28, 2024 at 06.30 at home," wrote Jessica in her upload on Instagram, quoted by brilio.net on Sunday (29/12).
According to Jessica , her father is a role model who taught her many things through his actions. She feels she learned gentleness and patience from the way her father treated her with unwavering love.
"Dad is a reflection of love. Dad never once got angry at me, shouted at me or did anything in a high tone. Dad always treated me as his little princess. Dad's act of service, dad's quality time was extraordinary. I grew up gentle and patient, learning from dad's love," she said with emotion.
Jessica also apologized to anyone who had ever felt hurt by her father. She hopes for sincere prayers from the community so that the deceased's journey to God's presence goes smoothly.

"To me he was a force of nature, an extraordinary person who was second to none and he was my teacher and protector throughout his life. Please pray that his path home into the embrace of God's love will be easy. Please forgive me if I have said or done anything wrong," he continued.
Jessica also shared more information about the time of the flower night procession and her father's cremation. She hopes for prayer support from the community who knew or had interacted with her father.
"Flower Night, December 31, 2024 at 19.00 WIB. Cremated on January 1, 2025 at 09.00 WIB," wrote Vincent Verhaag's wife.
Hardy Iskandar's passing has left a deep sorrow for the family, especially Jessica Iskandar. However, through prayers and beautiful memories left behind by Hardy, the family hopes to find peace amidst this great loss.
