Brilio.net - The Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) has again announced Sandra Dewi's husband, Harvey Moeis, as a suspect. This time, Harvey Moeis was named a suspect in the crime of money laundering, with the status of a suspect in corruption in the tin trade system in the Mining Business Permit (IUP) area.
"We have named the TPPU suspect as a TPPU suspect, HM," he said, as reported by brilio.net from merdeka6.com, Thursday (4/4).
Harvey is suspected of hiding the proceeds of corruption by purchasing a number of assets which led to him being charged with money laundering. On April 1 2024, the Head of the Indonesian Attorney General's Legal Information Center, Ketut Sumedana, carried out a series of searches at Harvey Moeis' house. One of the things that was also confiscated was a luxury car, a gift from Sandra Dewi for her birthday.

"From the search, the investigative team succeeded in confiscating electronic evidence, a collection of related documents, as well as two luxury cars, namely, one red Mini Cooper S Countryman F 60 and one black Rolls Royce," Ketut said. Sumedana detailed.
Regarding the news which stated that several artists' names were being targeted for investigation regarding tin megacorruption, the Deputy Attorney General's Director of Investigation denied this. "There was never that statement (examine the artist)," he said when met at the Indonesian Attorney General's office (Kejagung), Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, as reported by Antaranews.com.
So far, the prosecutor's office has only examined Sandra Dewi as the wife of suspect Harvey Moeis. The actress is being questioned to find out the flow of corrupt funds that Harvey Moeis has been using. The information provided by Sandra is useful for completing the case files that will be submitted to the court.
"We'll just follow the process to the extent that we don't need to assume, assume, we'll look at everything based on the existing evidence," he said.
