Galiech Rahardja revealed that even though they are in the process of divorce, his love for Asri Welas is still there. He even felt surprised to see Asri's increasingly charming appearance.
Since their household had problems, Galiech and Asri no longer live together. This makes their meetings less frequent. "Yes, of course, seeing it like a stark contrast, how come it's even more beautiful to see Asri now. Lots of time to take care of herself," said Galiech at the Depok Religious Court, West Java, on Tuesday (12/24/2024).
He added, "I was definitely surprised. Before we met every day, now we suddenly meet once every five days, why is she even more beautiful? I still feel that way." This shows that even though their relationship is in trouble, Galiech still admires Asri.
Galiech also admitted that dealing with divorce was not easy. After being together for so long, he felt lost. "Yes, after a while it got used to it, at first it was hard. Because it was like a loss, usually there was someone calling, now there is no one anymore. Yes, as time goes by, yes, after a while we get used to it. How can we continue like that, when will we move on ?" he explained.
In this situation, Galiech chose to surrender everything to God. He focused on the divorce process and did not want to think about his future relationship. "I haven't thought about having a partner yet, not at all. The important thing is that we just divorce, what happens in the future is God's scenario. Whether there will be no more communication or more frequent communication, I can't predict," he said.
Despite the difficult situation, Galiech remains committed to fulfilling the needs of his children. He learned a lot from Asri about positive attitudes. "Yes, working hard trying as much as possible to fulfill the needs of the children. Always doing the best and being professional when working. Always giving affection to the children even though he is busy. That is the positive thing that I learned," said Galiech Rahardja.
