Brilio.net - An unpleasant incident happened to presenter Daniel Mananta . While spending time with his wife, Viola, and children, Daniel admitted that he was pickpocketed.
This was revealed directly by Daniel via his personal Instagram upload on Wednesday (17/4). According to the presenter, the incident occurred when his family was having lunch together at a restaurant in a shopping center.
"So yesterday, I, Viola, and the children, had lunch together at a mall. We were just walking around, like family time and someone was carrying Viola's bag," said Daniel Mananta, quoted by brilio.net from Instagram @vjdaniel, Thursday (18/4).
Inside the bag, valuable items, such as wallets and cellphones, were lost in the hands of pickpockets. In fact, Viola was careful in guarding her bag.
"His bag was taken and everything in it, his wallet, his cellphone were all lost. Later at the end of this video I will show you the CCTV, but what is certain is that my wife, Viola, is a very careful person," he explained.

According to Daniel, this was the first time his wife experienced this unfortunate incident. Sandra Dewi's friend felt shocked and confused.
However, what made Daniel Mananta feel even more shocked was that he had met the perpetrator's eyes. This is known from the CCTV video recording which was also released by the presenter.
In the video, Daniel is seen paying at the cashier. Meanwhile his wife and two children were still sitting at the table. At that time, Viola's bag was hanging on the chair right next to her.
Suddenly the man moved to sit on an empty bench not far from Viola. While looking left and right, the man with a mask covering his face moved closer by moving his chair, then took the bag hanging on the chair.

For a few moments, Daniel looked back and made eye contact with the perpetrator. But unfortunately, he didn't realize that the man was targeting his wife's bag. As a result, the perpetrator just disappeared.
Daniel admitted that at that time he had mixed feelings. Blaming myself for not realizing that the man was the perpetrator of stealing Viola's bag.
"Because what happened was that I was paying at the cashier and I had time to look at the person behind me, who turned out to be the thief, so I was pretty blaming myself," continued the father of 2 children.
Even so, Daniel Mananta tried to face it calmly in order to protect the hearts of Viola and his children. Instead of looking for the pickpocket or reporting it to the police, this 42 year old presenter actually tried to accept it while praying for his wife's bag pickpocket to repent.
"Hopefully he will repent, hopefully he will be given a better job so he doesn't have to steal anymore. I, we all forgive him, and don't let there be hatred in our hearts and we give him a blessing," added the star of the film A Man Called Ahok.
